After a long debate I finally made a tough decision and decided to go with a new forum for this site. Part of my indecision was to due to the fact that all the member profiles and posts could be not be transferred over to the new forum. Fortunately, the old forum will remain in place in a read-only format so that posts can always be referenced and linked to from there.

The biggest change to the game comes with the addition of Pure Analog Control. That's right, buttons are about as hip these days as players wearing stirrups, so Sony has finally changed the control scheme for hitting, pitching, and throwing to be all analog based (although if you want to play old school and use buttons, you can still find last year's controls in the options menu).


That said

I've been a fan of "The Show" franchise for many years now, and I have to say, the 2011 edition blew me away. I spent a full day playing the game, then the following week attended Sony's New York preview event where I sat down and played another full 9-inning game. When I got back to my hotel room following the event, I still couldn't get the game (or the awesomeness of Brian Wilson's polygonal beard) out of my mind. It's similar to how I felt the first time I saw "NBA 2K11" -- sometimes you just get that feeling that you're playing something special, and "MLB 11: The Show" is shaping up to be one of the biggest sports game of the new year.

If only they would add orange cleats ...

Having OCD helps. Wink  Of course the guys that sicken me are the ones who can fly through them with no falls and get through it without any stoppages.  On the middle Extreme track from this new DLC there are people making it through in under 30 seconds.

Those guys need to seek help or play something other than Trials HD on occasion.

You should be able to get some of the new pack easy and mediums back, as I only gave many of them a couple of tries.  Some of the older and original ones will be much tighter.

Some of your small amount of falls on some of the extreme tracks are just sick.  No idea how you managed some of those.

I managed to get a couple of extremes, though I expect you'll have them back before too long.

Been eking my way into first on some of the first DLC pack's medium and hards, too. 

Please come take some of the mediums and easy's, as I only have bronze in some there, and I want to chase to improve! :)
