Web,

Let me know if you can play this weekend. I'd like to play a home and away if possible.

Web,  sorry I flaked out.  Fighting a cough and cold and needed to go over some financials for a business my wife and I are looking at.

No problem.  I hung around playing Carc until 11:20 or so, and then popped in my rental of Burnout Paradise.  We'll try again another night.

Jason, I should be able to play sometime this weekend.

It should be fine, but closer to 11 is better for me if you'll still be up!

Sorry I started a little late, Jason.  I had to start working out a little later than expected tonight.

Fun game.  I fully expected you to win after that first period.  I don't think I have EVER forechecked any better than that!  I felt I kept the puck in your end the whole period, and yet I was only up one goal.  I felt like the opportunity had passed, you know?

But the second period sealed it, with me scoring on some clean mid range stuff.  I took some clean shots, but was still surprised that 3 went in!

Third period was yours, but you had too much ground to make up.  Biggest thing in the game was the faceoffs, though.  Big advantage to me, and it really puts you behind the eight-ball if the other team is starting with the puck after every stoppage.  Easily the biggest factor in the game.

Great fun, and thanks for playing!!!

Did you look at the team stats? You dominated every major category. I think faceoffs were 35-2 in your favor Embarrassed. I need to work on my poke-checking. You and Ted kill me with it every game.

Ted knows how to counter it, too.  I was in the penalty box the whole game against him!

Yeah, I saw the faceoffs number and the time of attack were big my way.  I compiled most of the stat leads that 1st period, though.  It was more even in the second and especially in the third.
