Interesting...
I'm always open to more competition in the marketplace. The downside is that Sega might stop developing games for the competing consoles and make them Dreamcast exclusives.

I just don't think they have the finances to enter the hardware market again, unless they're doing some sort of "retro" Dreamcast thing, like the old Atari 2600's that show up in stores preloaded with 50 games for $19.99, or something.
That said, I thought they did a pretty good job with it. Not having EA support it killed the platform, IMHO.
