I don't think that will be necessary WinkLOL.

I can go American or National if we need someone to switch leagues.

I think if I remember preferences of people:

Ted:  Mariners (AL) or Dodgers (NL)
Jason:  Yanks (AL) or ? (NL)
Web:  Yanks (AL) or Phillies (NL)
Kev:  Indians (AL) or ? (NL)
Slumber: ? (AL) or Mets (NL)
G7: ? (AL) or ? (NL)

So I guess it depends on if G7 joins us and what league he likes better.  Both Mariners and Dodgers are weak so it doesn't matter skill wise for me although I'd prefer Mariners.

Should we just have everyone post their team preference by league?

You got mine, Ted.

The funny thing is, like Jason, I'd also take the Angels if I lose the 'Joe Torre' challenge and we still need an American league team.

I mentioned the league to g7 in an email today.  I should hear from him shortly, I hope!

I could always go with St. Louis or Houston if we needed an NL team.

When it comes to the AL, I'm a Boston supporter.

HA!

It all stems from the '86 series.  I wasn't too young to understand that for Boston, is was the stomach punch of all stomach punches, to the benefit of my team.  So I always pulled for the Sox to finally win one.

I'm no Yankee hater though, believe me.

Yankee fans...  all alike!  AngryBig smile

You'll laugh at this - my choice for the NL is probably going to have to be Pittsburgh.  That ballpark is my favorite in all of baseball.  Yeah, I'll lose every game, but I probably would anyway, so I might as well enjoy my surroundings!

Guys,

I'm going to set this up on the league site so that we're ready to start once we all have the game. Let me know what stats you'd like to track for the league.
