I think Brent, Derek, and Slumberland have PS3's, but I don't know if they have 43.  It is a great game.

Also there is a guy named Pete that pops in here once in awhile and he has a PS3 as well.

I love this game.  If you see me online and want to get into a squad, hit me up for an invite.  I got my 100th match cheevo last week and stopped playing for a couple of days, but am ready to storm Mount Surabachi again!

You know, some of the visuals in this are just stunning.  I don't get many jaw dropping moments in games anymore, but I've had a handful in 43 the last week.  Most of them come when I'm not even fighting.  Maybe recon an area or just observing some fighting going on around me.

Moments, like storming the beach at the fishing village on IWO as a marine and a zero swoops in overhead from behind, with that guttural Sakae engine changing pitch as it blows past us.

Spawning at the bunkers on Iwo with an enemy Sherman parked on the other side of the trenches just hammering away at us as we try to figure out how to get away and flank him.

The intense fighting at the airfields on Iwo and Wake, watched from a hilltop overlooking as the tide of battle ebbs back and forth among the combatants.

Swimming out to an island to snipe and noticing just how beautiful the water is and the terrain underneath is as I paddle around.

Hiding behind a hill as I watch 2 then 3, then 5 enemy soldiers run past, desperately trying to get to somewhere, completely overlooking me as I slip behind them to safety.

There's just so much here for $15 and I love how casual it is to pick up and play and yet how sophisticated and effective it can be to squad up and employ tactics to take territory.

Good way to finish the night last night, 1-2-3! :)

There was some seriously intense sustained fighting for a while in the airfield section again last night.  Crazy stuff.

I saw those moments, Derek.  I was thinking "man he really got good at this game" after seeing you at the top of the list that one round.  Usually you and I are hovering mid pack or lower.

Jake and I would love to squad up with you.  We figured out how to call the bomber strike in and its pretty fun since you fly the bomber formation and pick your target then drop it when you get there.  I was really racking up some points last night doing that.  I think one of the keys to victory each map is who controls the bomber bunker.  Those airstrikes can cause a lot of devastation and make flags easier to take over.

Hope to see you in there soon.

Hey Ted, I was glad to see you pop in for a while on this yesterday.  You killed me more than I got you, I think, but overall you were a good luck charm for me in that I had some of my best rounds in games you were in, including at least one 'best player' result.

I had a really amazing moment where I rolled into the airfield solo in a tank and took out like 5 or 6 of you guys, including you, and took over the flag by myself!  You got revenge on me later, though! :)

Really fun!  I'm glad you joined.  I didn't have the mic available yesterday, though, so sorry I wasn't talking.

We should play as a squad, me you and Jake.  Communication can help a ton in this game, even if it's just a sniper covering an infantry advance and calling out enemy locations.

It's a great title for $15.  It looks great, there is no lag that I've noticed and the varied type of combat (infantry, armor, air) is quite fun.  The maps so far are really well done too.
