From Hit Stick sacks to Fight Night slugfests, the right analog stick continues to be one of the most important control mechanisms in sports videogames.

This trend continues with Load and Fire hitting in MVP 06 NCAA Baseball.

This is exactly the kind of info I've been waiting for. After watching the video, I'm not sure what I think of the new batting system yet. I do like how they tied it into the right analog stick and how you must use a fluid motion for good contact, but it seems very simple and it appears we've lost the ability to pull or go with inside and outside pitches.

Seeing as I was never a big fan of the current system though, I'm willing to give the 'Load and Fire' hitting system a chance. I just wish they didn't change the throwing system (or at least have the option to use the old one).
