I've been watching a bit of Madden Nation on ESPN2 and Training Camp on G4. Anyone else catching these? I'm a bit surprised by the age of some of the Madden Nation guys - I swear some of them are over 30! And, another surpise is that some of the gamers on Training Camp are decent athletes.
Like Streetball, both shows are entertaining diversion when winding down late at night...

It's either Tues. or Wed. night at 11:00 or 11:30. I catch while channel-surfing late at night, so I'm not positive. I am pretty sure it's on ESPN2, though.

Thanks Kev, I'll have to keep an eye out for it. I like watching shows on video games. It's too bad G4 is so bad now.

Last night was the last G4tv show. I was probably the only 30 plus viewer who actually watched the show. Honestly, I didn't think it was too bad of a show, but there was some definite Sony bias going on.
So, what's the premise of Madden Nation and Training Camp?

I watched the G4 Training Camp with NHL 2K6 and thought it was OK. I enjoy these types of shows just because I can see some good gameplay footage of games I don't own.

The show I enjoy watching the most is Electronic Playground. Generally, you get a good 4 games that have recently released along with 2 or 3 games yet to be released. Just last week, I saw a preview of Jaws that looks interesting. Not necessarily my type of game, but different which is good. Plus, you get to hear interviews by the developers.
Judgement Day isn't bad either. I don't generally agree with the hosts impressions, but at least it's a bit more serious than XPlay. That show is atrocious. I guess it's all about the demographic audience though.

Yeah, Electric Playground and Judgement Day are two of the better shows on the network.

Any Attack of the Show fans here?
I know it's kind of campy in an Xplay kind of way, but they have some good info there (and they're usually good for a laugh or two). It helps to tivo it and fast forward past the "fluff", but I think it's one of G4's better shows (and Sarah Lane is kinda easy on the eyes, too).
