Tonight Ted and I will play the true National Championship as his Kentucky Wildcats take on my Indiana Hoosiers. As our 20-game season (which has spanned 5 months) comes to an end, Ted heads into the final game with 9 wins to my 10 wins. Tonight's winners will become the National and Season NCAA Football Champion.

Congrats on the run of games. Although "National Championship" and "Kentucky/Indiana" is a bit ironic.

Thanks.

Ted and I can be quite dangerous with our respective teams . This is going to be a tough-fought game tonight between two hungry teams.

Congratulations to Ted and his Kentucky Wildcats on their 42-28 victory over Indiana in the National Championship. Our excellent season has finally come to an end.

Thanks Jason.  It feels good to have won that game, but I have to admit that I'm as  sad to see the season end.  Truly bittersweet.  I can't recall having more fun with online gaming than the past five months going head to head against you in the NCAA league.  The level of competition, the challenge, and the camraderie has been incomparable.  Thanks for being there every week to make it happen.  It's this kind of play that makes me think we should keep a history somewhere and continue to run similar seasons for bragging rights in the future.

I agree, this game was too much fun to not play anymore. The ladder and our games should continue until we get NCAA Football 07. Thanks for a great season.

Hey, congrats to you guys for finishing it all the way through. Sounds like it
was a ton of fun! This kind of season is my favorite thing in sports gaming,
where you each take a team and play the other guy's opponents. I used to
do it all the time back in the days after college when I was living with other
gamers. Of course, it's even better with injuries and stats compiled etc., but
it sure is easy enough to do manually for online games, ain't it?

Thanks Zep.

Ted and I did talk about using the league site to track records and stats but decided to keep it simpler and more manageable. We used the ladder just to have a history of the games. The rivalry we developed was better than anything else anyway.

Thanks Zep.  It's nice to know that it was interesting for a few people outside the league to follow.

I certainly see us repeating with '07.  I think both Jason and I hope to expand by two more gamers, but it is hard to find PS2 online gamers now since Xbox, Live, and 360 are going strong.  That being the case I'm sure that Jason will agree that we'll keep it at two instead of expanding two four if the other two aren't reliable.  It was real important to both of us to finish the season and it will be just as important next season.
