Not only that, but why don't we set up some batting practice? We could both use some better timing and it will give us a chance to get up to speed with load and fire.

Is there an option for that? If so, that would be great. I always wished for a standard batting practice mode in a baseball game. The batting mini-games in MVP were good, but I'd prefer a simple batting mode.

Well I checked with my EB and they got a note from corporate saying that all the Gamestop and EB stores here in Lubbock will "probably" be getting the game Friday. I guess Thursday is still possible. Sucks living in an area where the stores are considered low tiered (smaller stores with little cometition) meaning they will not shell out for overnight shipping to save a few bucks. At least when EB and GS were competitors we had that to factor in allowing for faster shipping to smaller stores. Just another reason why competition is good for the consumer. Oh well it's just one day and again already paid off so I wont mess with the hassle of trying to find it elsewhere. Just urks me since I play by their rules and pre-order the games so the store will actually get a few copies in.

No there isn't an option, but I was thinking about just setting up a game and not worrying about score or getting guys out. Just throwing down the middle for an inning or two and even letting the batter call the pitches. Then throwing only strikes for a couple of innings still calling the pitch. Then throwing only strikes for a couple of innings without calling the pitch and then normal for the last couple of innings. Great way to work on timing, especially online.
BD, that does suck, but that's life in low populated areas. At least the internet is a highly competitive market no matter where you live.

Woo Hoo it showed up and going to get it right now. Taking care of my dad who just had surgery but hopefully I can get a few games in when he rests.
