My turn.
I'm Scott and currently living in Tulsa,OK and will be moving to the DC
area in the summer. I'm 35 and have decided with my wife to go
back to school in a government program. I have three kids (13, 4,
20 months) and am a graduate of the University of Kansas and soom to be
the University of Tulsa.
I mostly play sports games on the Xbox, but have rediscovered the mod
community that is on PC Sports games. I don't have Live as of
yet, but have the free 2 month deal that I may try.
Favorite teams.
MLB - KC Royals
NFL - no one really, but the Lions if I had to choose
NHL - Red Wings
NCAA - Kansas

Welcome, "Rubba!" It's like we have an "old-time gamers" convention going on around here, or something!

Thanks...used to visit your's and Jonathan's stie quite frequently....was kcscotty back then (which is still my OS name.).
However, once you move from KC(there 17 years), it doesn't seem as nice as it used to be...

Hi
I'm Tom,age 39, born it Balto. MD. Just located to rural SE Ohio. I am
married with one child. I am a rabid hockey fan that is seriously
jonesing this year. Am still a staunch Colts fan even though they moved
to Indy. I still have fond memories of Memorial Stadium and having my
hat autographed by Johnny U.
Huge fan of minor league baseball. Since moving to Ohio have discovered the Frontier League and am planning to go to their games
I play mainly sports games on the PS2 and Xbox. Not online yet. May
have to rethink that because face-to-face was easy to find in DC and
Balto., not so out here in the boonies.
Career wise started as a molecular biologist, became a programmer
(Mainframe and midrange, system and database) and am now a pharmacist,
go figure. Kids made me want to get a job that was flexible and always
available.
Just starting to get into soccer, been watching the EPL on Fox. Still
trying to get a handle on the different leagues, cups championships
etc. It seems somewhat byzantine at times from the outside looking in.
The core gameplay is good and keeps me coming back. Picked up FIFA for the PS2 recently and still trying to score my first goal. LOL
Teams:
MLB - Orioles
AAA - Baysox
NHL - Oilers
NFL - Colts ( They will eventually come home :) )
NCAA Basketball - Terps (of course)
EPL - Blackburn - maybe because I've seen them the most. Still leraning
