GREAT game last night, Ted. I didn't pass out for once, and made it to game time! :)
Once there, we had one of our classics. I can't believe the way you kept battling back! I thought you were going to pull it out, especially when you tied it up again in the third!!! That deflection goal of yours was very sweet.
At the very end of the game when I got that breakaway, I literally slapped myself in the head after taking the shot. I just wasn't thinking. I should have pulled up and skated away the time right then. But you made the save, and now had a chance at one more final rush. Had you scored on that one, I may have had to run out into traffic....
Again, GREAT game. THAT's the kind of game we usually get when we play, not that odd, awful start-stop stuff that happened last time...but of course, the fact that two games could play out so differently is one of the things that makes the game great.

There will be no lulling me into any sort of false confidence, despite the lead.
 Just about all of our games (reg season and playoffs) could have gone either way. |
