Sorry Brent. I missed my regular league match as well. My daughter started crying around 8:30 ("I want Daddy, I want Daddy"). Of course I melted and cuddled her until she fell asleep. Also, of course, since Daddy is an old fart, he fell asleep too! Back awake at 1 playing NHL though.
I should be OK to play tonight after 10 EST, as long as my wife goes to bed early, and my daughter sleeps through the night. |

I fell asleep again! Sorry guys, but the stress level has increased big time here .... I have three finals in the next week and a half, just finished two mega-projects for school, have not slept in the middle of the night much since my girl keeps waking up several times a night, and this morning I found out my wife's company is closing down from the 15th to the 31st so that they don't have to pay any salaries - better than losing her job, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time since Xmas is coming! Of course, the executives aren't taking a pay deferral and continue to fly first class on their business trips all over the world. |
