"It looks exactly like you see on television. All of the intros, fly-ins, movies, graphics, announcers [Dick Vitale, Brad Nessler, Erin Andrews] … all of that stuff you see on ESPN will be in 'NCAA Basketball 10.' Not to mention, we're also doing CBS Sports integration. So that means we'll have two new announcers for the CBS team and that's Gus Johnson and Bill Rafferty. They'll be calling the games along with all of the CBS Sports broadcast packages. So if you're playing through your Dynasty mode, your Monday through Friday games will generally be on ESPN, but your big weekend games will be on CBS Sports. Conference tournaments will switch between the two broadcasts depending on who owns the rights to that specific tournament, and then, of course, the NCAA basketball tournament is broadcast on CBS. It's an evolving broadcast package that will look different from the start of the season to the end of the season. We were really excited just to have one broadcast partner, but by having both, it really brings things over the top and looks amazing. WOOOOOOOOOOOW. Two presentations and announcing teams for this game. The Madden and NCAA Football teams should be ashamed. |

I was just thrilled to see a demo come out at the same time for the PS3.
 IGN Hands on http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/103/1035592p1.html First things first, yes this game feels quite a bit like NBA Live 10. All of the gameplay refinements that were made for this year's NBA game make their way into NCAA Basketball 10. That means that you can size-up your man and take him to the hole or assume direct control of a player without the ball and make quick cuts to the basket. The one slight change that has been made to the core basketball gameplay is that NCAA moves at a slightly quicker clip than NBA Live. It's not a huge discrepancy, but it's certainly there. Another change that will please fans of the college alternative is the crowd. They're lively as all hell and will shake your speakers, especially if you're playing in a place like Cameron Indoor. I'm still wondering if there are going to be any new college-specific game modes or feature additions to further widen the gap between NBA Live 10 and NCAA Basketball 10. If EA Sports can continue to deliver a unique experience, NCAA could not only match NBA Live in terms of quality, but it might even surpass it. Only time will tell. |
