I'm hoping to be able to buy it in a few weeks at most. I'm really enjoying the demo and hopefully a patch will be released by the time I pick it up.

Hope you feel better, Brent! Let me know if you're up for a game of 2K8 sometime this weekend (it would have to be after 11 PM EST, most likely). We need to see how this thing is going to work online. Of course, given our history of trying to play together, that may not be a good barometer.

If the lag in MLB2K8 is not any better we might not get the chance to play. It would take one heck of a patch fixing online play and the ability to use other control schemes to get me online again.

No problem... We'll wait for the patch, and then give it a try. I'm pretty disappointed about all of the problems everyone seems to be having online with this title.
