What I would like to do is find someone who wants to play an online season with me.

For example:  Every week that Oklahoma plays I would like to play someone who uses the upcoming opponent.   In return I would play as the opponent of someones team.

That's exactly what Ted and I did with NCAA 06. It turned out to be the best online gaming experience I've had.

You can record your scores on the ladder or wait until I finish setting up a simple standings/schedule site.

I'm up for it, Brent...  What we need to do is set a consistent time to play, and play both games back-to-back.  Does that sound okay?

Friday or Saturday nights work best for me.  Let me know what you think.

Sure that would work just fine with me.  I am leaving the time up to you since you have a family.

I am assuming you would be playing with Ohio St and I would be playing with Oklahoma? Heck, if you wanted to do it with smaller schools that is fine by me.

Jason - I was just thinking about making a thread here and updating the game results. Whatever is easiest will work for me.

I haven't decided - Akron or OSU...  Probably OSU, since I play my dynasties with Akron.

When do you want to start?

The only snag is week 1 of the Ohio St schedule.  Youngstown St is a 1-AA team and not in the game,

sounds great!  Let's do it.  How about midnight each Saturday night for both games?

I'll play as OSU.  We can just pick one of the "generic" East Championship Division teams, or whatever they call it now...  I don't think it will make that much of a difference, no matter which scrub team we use.

I've got to get my skillz up before we play for real, LOL...

The "generic" Div-1AA teams are not available online and in exhibitions. We can just pick another Ohio team to replace them, like Toledo or Ohio. I will get beaten up pretty bad no matter who gets used. LOL

Saturday night for the games is not a problem, unless there is a big game on that night. I am sure we can find the time to get two games in.

Looking forward to this.

Me too!

How about we use Army or Temple, since those are two of the lower-rated teams...

And, I'm not confident I can beat you, even with the Bucks against a scrub!  Smile

Trust me I am not that good.  Also playing online is a whole different ball game when you are used to playing the CPU.

Temple will work since they are roughly the lowest of the low in DIV1-A. I can at least tell a bunch of Bill Cosby jokes while getting blown out.

Cool!  I have the "strategy guide" for NCAA, and it looks like FIU (Florida International?) is the lowest reated team.  They were 0-12 last year (I believe their first year in Div. I).  I'm fine with Temple, though...

All you need is a 360 to join in the fun. I have no problem playing multiple seasons.

Hope you guys post some short write-ups.  I agree with Jason that that NCAA 06 season was the best online gaming experience I've had too and would have been even if I hadn't come back from a 14 point deficit at the half in the championship game and score 28 unanswered points as he imploded on my way to ultimate glory.  Wink

Kentucky!
