I'm laying low on purchases for awhile. Thankfully there's really only 2 PC games I have on my radar right now and I'm waiting for price drops. I've been spending too much money on lots of different things since Xmas. I'm going to have to rein it in for a bit because we have some serious expenditures coming for the summer  .

I just got rid of a TON of games this morning at EB. Sometimes when I have too many, my mind gets taken over by the need to somehow make progress in as many as I can, some of which I don't even enjoy that much. When I only have a core group of games that really speak to me, I don't feel the panicked need to constantly play them. In other words, I don't think I've got any game purchases coming up for a long time. Might be a good time to sign up with a Gamefly/Gamerang/Etc. Their Keep It prices alone make the service worth while. Plus you get to try out all those games you wanted to purchase but feared the wife would have you sleeping on the couch. Even better is you, unlike many are a fairly patient person. So the wait times (mail) to get a game wont be as big a bother. For example see below (Gamefly) who has some of the best deals on Keep It and used game prices. I think Gamerang was around $35 but they tend to have far fewer games for sales and to keep listed. Gamefly is the biggest service out there but they desperately need to expand shipping locations. Again with a little patience these services will save you in the long run. Oh and yes they do send you the box and manual in the mail if you choose to Keep It.

Friday is taking FOREVER to get here. It'll be fun to start playing MLB 06 at the start of the regular baseball season too.
