Barcelona opened the scoring in the 5th minute with a Ronaldinho header directly off a Xavi corner kick. Real Madrid pounced back with a 2-on-1 fast break, with Ronaldo hitting a one-timer from Julio Baptista in minute 31.
The second half was as open as the first. Ronaldo scored his second of the night in the 76th minute with the assist from Roberto Carlos. At minute 88, Ludovic Giuly tied the game at 2-2 with a sly through pass from Henrik Larsson.

Barcelona opened the scoring in the 44th minute off a long distance shot by Deco, deflected by an Arsenal defender into the net; assist credited to Barca's Gio Van Bronckhorst.
In the 52nd minute, Ronaldinho notched the second goal of the game and his second of the season with a classy touch and shot, assisted by Henrik Larsson.
Deco took down Freddy Ljungberg in the box in the 69th minute, and Henry scored the PK, but it wasn't enough as Barca held on for the home win.

Helguson broke the tie in the 82nd minute with a header off a cornerkick. Arsenal came close to scoring in stoppage time off a cornerkick when Arsenal kepper, Lehmann, headed a ball just over the bar. Barca wins 2-0. After a scoreless first half, second half sub Giuly sparked an attack, assisting on a Ronaldinho header from a corner kick in the 83rd minute. An injured Larsson battled it out to score a scissor kick from a Giuly header after a mix-up and poor clearance by Real Madrid in stoppage time.

Barca defeats Manchester 2-1. Barcelona ended the first half a goal up on a free kick in off the crossbar by Ronaldinho in minute 43.
Ryan Giggs tied the game up for the Reds with a dribbling clinic and a low shot that deflected off of Oleguer and into the net in the 85th. Ronaldinho cleaned up with his second of the night from a counter attack sparked by Messi, whose long pass gave him a one-time crack at a helpless Van Der Sar with 5 minutes left to play. His goal would stand as the game-winner.

A laggy game to say the least, but after a scoreless 80 minutes, Barca finally got on the board with a strike from Santi Ezquerro, assisted by Xavi.
Man U made some switches and pushed forward, allowing the floodgates to open as Eto'o struck a pinpoint pass from Van Bommel. Eto'o then got an assist of his own on the kickoff as Ezquerro stormed through the defense after the Reds' kickoff.
Final score: FC Barcelona 3, Manchester United 0.

The home side sparked the scoring in the 18th minute with a goal by Henrik Larsson from a Ronaldinho feed. Fulham pressed through the 31st minute when McBride fed Helguson with a nice through ball that brought him past the defense with an easy slot into the net to tie it at 1. Eto'o ended the half with a bullet strike off a layoff by Deco.
The two would combine again in the 61st minute, as Deco headed down a poor Fulham clearance, allowing Eto'o to have a pacy volley past the keeper.

I finally connected with Reyes1 and beat him 7-0.
Saha had 4 headed goals and Rooney had 3 screamers. Biggest win for me ever. I won the 2nd game 2-0 with Rooney scoring a brace (twice). Glad we finally connected.

confirmed...unfortunately. i'm sure you r glad we connected, i'm thrilled  you're biggest win, by far my biggest loss. i have given up an average of .89 goals per game with over 300 games played. i guess some players you just don't match up well against, ravi is one of them for me. well done. |

Statistics sometimes lie. A couple games before I beat you some guy had beaten me 6-1 and I usually give up 1 or 2.The 1st game I won was a lot of luck but Saha pulled through.

Finally played Peru. He beat me 2-0 in the 1st game with the best goal anyone has ever scored on me by Zidane and a sublime finish from Raul.
The second game I won 2-0 with a free-kick goal by Rooney and an own goal by Roberto Carlos but van Nistelrooy should get credit for it. Glad we finally connected. |

Good season everybody. A look at the results, and most games were decided by one goal, sometimes two, and seldom more than that.
A ton of games could've gone either way, and a few of mine were come-from-behind victories.
I really look forward to the next league, and this one was a fun one, first online gaming league I've ever done.

In game one Peru tied Northern Ireland 1-1. Pizzaro scored for Peru in the 8th minute. Hiyuni even the score in the 42th minute. Their were no cards. In game two Peru won 3-0. Next game was a scoreless draw Nigeria 0 - Russia 0 with Yobo sitting out because of the red card. Questionable call, I think the Russian striker dove. Hehe.

Eliminated from the competition today. Played my two games with Peru. Per Peruvian's request, I'll post both matches now.
First game 1 - 1 draw with Nigeria hosting Peru
Pizarro at 22 minutes
Utaka in first half injury time
Second Game 3 - 2 with Peru hosting Nigeria
Nigeria takes a quick lead at 6 minutes with a shot from Martins
But Peru ties and leads it with three consecutive goals
Solano at 11 minutes
Guerrero at 28 minutes
And Solano again in first half injury time
Martins gets his second at 69 minutes but Nigeria can't get any more after.
Congratulations to Peru and Russia for advancing.

Me and Reyes played our last game. I hosted it. I won 4-1
Recoba has 2 goals, Dario Silva had 1, and Varela had one. O'Shea scored for him. Finally my games our done. Can't wait till next round. |

me and aztecroyal played both our final games. game 1: Ireland(reyes1) v. Colombia(royalflush) score: ireland 1- colombia 0 Robbie Keane scored a crazy goal in the 1st minute when the keeper attempts to run with the ball out of the 6 yard box and keane slides into him knocking the ball into the net. if he had not got all ball it probably would have been a red card, but he did get all ball and put it home. that was it for the rest 89 minutes. Keane 1' Given gets the clean sheet. game 2: Colombia(royalflush) v. Ireland(reyes1) score: colombia 2 - ireland 3 in another crazy game, ireland came from behind to win on damien duff's hattrick. in the 13' cunningham put the ball into his own net giving colombia a 1-0 lead. duff scores in the 44', and 65' to put ireland on top. but colombia got the equalizer when muruzzo scored in the 73' and i was sure it would be a draw. damien duff got injured but played on and remarkably scored his hattrick in the 86' on a beautiful solo run and shot giving ireland the win. Cunningham 13' (own goal) Duff 44', 65', 86' Muruzzo 73' Yellow Card: Restneo 23' (colombia) i finally got to play royal, and we had two real good and crazy games. |

Me and Peru player 2 games that ended as 1-1 draws if extra time doesn't count I'm not sure.
The 1st game he scored with Pizzaro and I did with Recoba. The 2nd game he scored with Pizarro and I scored with Sanchez. For fun we did extra timein both games and i won the 1st 2-1 and the 2nd he won 3-2. Nice finally playin Peru.

Celtic 0 - Dortmund 1 It was a good game. Possession was even, shots were pretty even, and it looked like it was going to be a draw until Koller finally got a good header in in second half injury time to win it for Dormund. |

Game ends in a 1-1 draw.
John Hartson scored for Celtic in the 56th minute. Celtic's Petrov crossed a great ball to set up the goal. Jan Koller scored for Dortmund in the 82nd minute to secure atleast a point out of the match.
