If Star Locke wins he is proposing it.

50% tax on violent video games, additional taxes on abortion clinics and soft drinks. All to get rid of property taxes. (of course he so happens to be a large rancher and builder - gee wonder who's interest he is looking out for)?

I do not see this happeneing as Rick Perry is doing a pretty good job and the way he handled the two hurricanes helped increase his popularity even more. I know we try to nix political/religion posts here. Just mentioned it because vidoe games were mentioned.

I refuse to get involved with these discussions because they tend to degenerate.

I will only add that I think Locke's proposal might be popular with soccer moms because my sister use to live in TX and said that property taxes there were very high.
