Does anyone know where to find a list of games (especially this year's EA games) that support 480p on the PS2? I'm finally buying a new HDTV and want to find out what games support that mode. The game manuals and EA's site don't seem to have any info on this.

Off the top of my head the only one I know for sure is Smashcourt Pro Tennis Tournament 2 and it is an excellent game although not an EA game.  I'll check all of my PS2 games to find out which other ones I have that are.

It's funny that you mention 'Smashcourt Pro Tennis 2' as I've always been interested in picking that game up but never did and now with 'Top Spin' coming to the PS2 (with online play), I probably never will. Am I correct in assuming that 'Smashcourt 2' did not support online play?

Someone had mentioned this link to me: http://www.hdtvarcade.com/ps2list.htm

No online in smashcourt.  I played Top Spin online and off with the xbox.  At least on that platform it doesn't measure up to Smashcourt.

I think I'll try and rent GT4 just to see what a 1080i game looks like.

I plan on buying GT4 once it becomes a 'Greatest Hits' title and will hopefully have my HDTV by then so that I'll be able to see how it looks at 1080i too. It still amazes me that Polyphony was able to add that mode to a PS2 game.
