I don't think I could have predicted a more interesting climax to this online season.
With the upset of the Volunteers by Kentucky there are four possible outcomes to the season.
Indiana is 4-5 and has a regular season game left against a ranked and rival Purdue team.
Kentucky sits on the sidelines at 4-6 and waits to see what happens to Indiana when they host the Boilermakers.
Knowing Jason, he is going to pull out all the stops in the Purdue game because he will want to go into the championship one win up on Ted. If he wins he goes to the final 5-5 and a victory against Kentucky at Kentucky will make him 6-5 and undisputedly #1.
If Jason loses to Purdue, he must travel to Lexington with an equal 4-6 record and having previously lost to Kentucky at home in Bloomington. There is no doubt that if Ted wins in this scenario that Ted will be ranked #1 since he'll have a better record and will have beaten Indiana twice.
But what if Jason beats Purdue and then loses to Kentucky? Both teams will be 5-6 for the season, but Ted will have beaten Jason twice. Better yet, what if Jason loses to Purdue and then beats Ted in the final? Still both teams will have equal records, but they will have split their games versus each other and both won on the road.
It is these third and fourth scenarios that provide the most interesting bar room debate right now among the SGN faithful.
But before I get ahead of myself it remains to be seen if Jason can even get past Purdue. If he doesn't, then the chips are definitely stacked in Ted's favor.
I wish Jason the best luck and may the better player take the crown this season.

Congrats to Kentucky for their huge upset of Tennessee. Like most of our games this year, this season is going to go down to the wire before a winner is declared.

Good game Ted. The season will come down to the final game to determine who the champion is with both of us using our regular teams.

As Jason and I were chatting before the game I made a prediciton that I thought this game was going to boil down to turnovers. While that wasn't the whole story the fact that I had two defensive TD's and won by 14 was a remarkable coincidence.
A few individual statistics:
Kentucky QB 11-23 with 2 TD
Indiana QB 8-18 with 3 TD and 2 INT
Indiana RB 14 carries for 44 yards
Kentucky RB 15 carries for 151 yards and 2 TD
A few notable statistics:
Jason returned his first punt for a TD of the season.
42 points is the most I have scored in a game either as Kentucky or Indiana's opponent.
Edited: to correct some stat typos

Just for the record, I'm not sure why people feel that deep passes are "money" in this game. My offensive gameplan was to stretch the field last night and as you can tell by my quarterback's stats, it wasn't too successful. The right combination of blitzes and coverages can control any deep passing game. The fact that Ted stuffed my running game made matters worse.
